We had a very important meeting yesterday which went very well.
Two topics that are and will be our main focus: immersive technologies and Space.
From today April 14th, we take a more active roll in our work with Space. It’s exploration and innovation, global challenges, and new solutions.
We must now explain where our expertise is so you understand. Our expertise is in tackling new challenges (global), it’s about situations that have no precedence, complex situations (call it the unknown if you wish to), complex technologies, where nobody understands how to go about it. This requires an extraordinary vision, the ability to innovate, and more. It also requires a very special way of thinking. As you know, we focus on people and accelerating technologies and work on the gaps. It’s the gaps that we are passionate about (also exponential and emerging technologies). This is what we do research on. This is what we have always done.
Our expertise also targets situations that do not exist yet, technologies that do not exist yet, and problems that are not here yet! So in this case, years of experience that so many people have been so focused on (paranoid even) for years especially as part of the requirements of the CV’s (hopefully they will disappear as well), and other cases, do not apply.
These are our talents, our expertise. It’s what sets us apart from the rest.
This time my friends, it’s not a technology, it’s the mind!
I guess this all explains why there is no app nor product on our website. =) It has to do with services, very special services as explained above. And also innovation projects. Furthermore, it also has to do with our innovative courses and key training in other subjects. A clarification: when we talk about strategic foresight or futures thinking, we do not mean making predictions. We mean doing the research, reading patterns (signs), using key tools, and understanding the future.
In today’s world with accelerating and converging technologies, the ability to see what is coming in the future is priceless. You cannot put a price on it. This is even more important than the technologies.
But you will see new things on our website. We live in a digital world! And very very soon new technologies will be in our hands and then we will create amazing things. That would be the next step which we will take for sure.

This week our focus is on the Exo World Online Summit, on launching our online training programs and reaching out to the people, partners, and collaborators.
Today we finish some work that is pending and has to be done.
