I will now explain what happened that day in the meetup.
I arrived at the meetup and it was one of the many meetups since I was then a serial networker and a member of about 300 meetup groups. This was mainly because I was on a journey, learning from other entrepreneurs, and deep inside looking for answers. Another thing that brought me there was an endless hunger for knowledge.
I remember that in the presentation I saw drones and space. What impacted me was the notion then that drones could transport food to people living in remote places and that, thanks to 3D printing, one could print spare parts for spaceships and that way they did not have to travel back to Earth to get them and save a lot of money, time, and trouble. It was the drones, and the Space that caught my eye and stayed in my mind until today.
I watched and listened with amazement as I understood the power and the beauty of these technologies. I fell in love with them! It went deep inside of me, shook me, and I knew that was what I wanted to work with and would do so. What was that so powerful that could go so deep inside of me? Why? I also found it a bit puzzling since I was not an Engineer and did not know how I would accomplish this.
Fast forward in time, I understood that what happened that day was that I saw it from the eyes of a visionary, an innovator, and understood the immense possibilities and what it would mean for the world. I had to grow to understand this, who I really was and my capabilities. I also had to find in my journey the things that would help me grow.
These were the same eyes that understood the power and the importance of exponential organizations.
I am still growing and learning and the learning process will never end.
Know your purpose in life, follow your dreams, and be persistent! You are also on a journey, like the one I am on. It’s a journey that never ends.
